Terence P. O'Connor (AV Rated)

For more than 20 years, Terry's practice has been devoted to serious personal injury litigation in Albany and throughout New York's Capital Region. During this time, Terry has compiled an extraordinary record of successes, both inside and outside of the courtroom, on behalf of his injured clients. Terry has successfully tried more than 100 cases to verdict and has successfully settled thousands more, including numerous million dollar settlements.

In addition to his personal injury practice, Terry is a frequent lecturer on personal injury matters. Terry has lectured at Albany Law School of Union University and at New York State Bar Association events and seminars. Some of Terry's past presentations include: "Power Advocacy: Achieving Maximum Jury Impact During Trial"; "Practical Skills Basic Civil Practice: The Trial"; Psychological and Neurological Injuries: An Overview - Medicine in the Courtroom"; "How To Handle a Neck and Back Injury Case"; "Jury Selection Techniques: The Basics for the Civil Practitioner"; Cross Examining Experts in Federal Court"; and "Proving and Defending Damages".

Terry O'Connor is a 1980 graduate of St. Lawrence University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. In pursuing his B.S. degree, Terry also attended the University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1983, Terry received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law. Terry is admitted to practice before all Courts of the State of New York, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Terry is a member of the American Bar Association; New York State Bar Association; New York State Trial Lawyers Association; Capital District Trial Lawyers Association; and Albany County Bar Association.
